Feeling good about self is not easy at the start but when you keep saying these words to yourself slowly it becomes much easier to believe and you realise you don't have to fight with yourself any more. Then peace comes and joy comes and you'll be able to look at yourself and say this to yourself and smile lol

Paraffin Wax Treatment
This is an additional treatment that is offered in many salons either as part of a luxury manicure or as a specific treatment for conditions such as dry or rough skin. It can be soothing for arthritis sufferers. It has many benefits:
1) it is very relaxing and soothing
2) it will soften dry, rough or calloused skin
3) it temporarily gives the skin a younger-looking appearance
4) it improves blood circulation during treatment
5) it softens cuticles ready for removal
6) it soothes aching joints and tired muscles
It is not advisable to paint the nails after a paraffin wax treatment as the nail will have absorbed oils and the paint will probably peel off very quickly.

Buffering
This is a useful procedure for several reasons,
1) the stimulation to the nail plate increases blood circulation in the area
2) it can remove superficial staining cuased by polish
3) it produces a very healthy looking shine that will last several weeks
4) it will minimise ridges
5) it helps to make the nail plate less porous
6) polish bonds better and is therefore less prone to chipping

The complete Nail Technician 2nd Edition Marian Newman. Forms
Forms
There are many different types of forms available. Some are disposable and are used from a roll. They have a sticky back that allows them to be held in place on the finger. Technicians have devised all sorts on inventive ways of shaping these to help produce the perfect nail. They are used for one nail and then discarded. They usually have a metallic finish of some description to reflect back the small amount of heat polymerisation produces and ensures that the under-surface of the free edge is fully cured. With uv cured materials, it is usually worth removing the form after curing and putting the finger back under the light with the palm of the hand upwards to make sure the underside is cured.
There are also an array of reusable forms of different shapes and sizes. Like many things in the art of applying artificial nails, the decision about which one to use is a matter of personal choice. The forms, both disposable and resusable, are not expensive, so it is worth trying out as many as possible to see which is preferred. It is also worth having several types, as some will fit a specific shape nail shape better than others and this will make the fitting of the form.
